IT'S NEW BUT IT LOOKS OLD.................THE AMP., OUR NEIGHBOR!

We returned to Chautauqua to find a wonderfully constructed new Amphitheater, closely resembling the old one.  The view from our porch is better than ever and the sound system (after a few tweaks) provides an acoustically pure environment.

On our porch we were treated to the optimistic mission mantra of Stephanie Gottschalk.  Her warm and caring personality was a pleasant blanket for our guests and friends during, at times, a cool first week!

The theme was 'Inventions' and one can see the UM House's contribution to creative change on the sign behind Stephanie, "129 YEARS OF HOSPITALITY".
