FEAR NOT GOD WILL PROVIDE!

Our chaplain for the week was not able to attend at the last moment.  While we were saddened by her situation we went into 'creative mode.'  Dr. Richard Heitzenreiter, a neighbor/friend and retired professor at Duke Divinity School, was the preacher on Sunday.  The APYA students did an excellent job of taking over the Chaplain's Chat and Bob spoke and showed slides of his trip to Cuba.  Don and Shirley Bloomster agreed to fill in as temporary chaplain.  Thus, the week was transformed into a cooperative, loving House, just like it always is.

A WONDERFUL WEEK WITH A VERY COMPATIBLE HOUSE!

It was just the right mixture of personalities blended together to provide a wonderful week at the UM House.  Our chaplain was the youthful, exuberant Jude Urso, his wife Emily and their daughter Rachel from the Western Pa. Conference, thus, a rainbow formed over our house.

It was the Annual Meeting of the House and all the usual festivities took place:

A special note of interest is the end of Cindy and Dave Shuff's tenure as Winter Hosts.  They will be dearly missed.  Also, Chuck Bolan retired from his Property Committee chair and was replaced by Conrad Howard.  Chuck will remain on the committee.
